HSO Young Artist Competition
Now in its 29th year, the Young Artist Competition is open to musicians in grades 9-12 who live
in Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison,
McDowell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey counties in North Carolina or
who are members in good standing in the Hendersonville Symphony Youth Orchestra.
The 2025 Young Artist Competition will be held on Sunday February 16th, 2025 at Freeburg Pianos, in Hendersonville, NC
With the very generous support of the event sponsors, awards for the winners include:
First Place: $1000
Second Place: $600
Third Place: $400
