Stephanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with a Concentration In Voice from Brevard College. She has also obtained a license to teach K-12 music in the public school system. After a few years of being a stay-at-home mom and substitute teacher, Stephanie began her homeschool journey in 2014 with her oldest son and has continued that journey with her 2 other children.

Stephanie's musical training began in 8th grade when she started private voice and piano lessons. Since then, she has performed in a variety of choral and band ensembles, and also as a solo performer at many different venues and events. She has been leading children's music for her church for over 10 years. For the past 4 years Stephanie has enjoyed teaching private voice and piano lessons. She joined the Ignite Hybrid Homeschool co-op in 2023 where she leads the MS/HS Choir and teaches a 3rd – 5th grade general music class. One of her greatest joys is witnessing her students' musical growth and seeing them share it with others.erence.
